The Forage Systems Research Center will be hosting a field day in Linneus, Missouri on Tuesday September 25.
A stockdog demonstration will be provided by Roy Cox. There should be enough time to do approximately 3 or 4 short demos.
Other topics include: Dung beetle demo, Chainsaw safety and sawmill demo, weather monitoring and weather updates, hay feeding strategies to reduce waste, quail habitat improvements and resources, pasture weed control, and new technologies to measure pasture productivity. Feel free to put as much or as little info about this on your website. Lunch will be provided too.
Here are some directions.
From US Hwy. 36, travel 6 miles north on Rt. FF, turn left on gravel Genoa Road and follow for 1 1/2 miles to headquarters.
From MO Rt. 5 at Linneus, travel 2 miles east on Rt. P, turn right on Finn Road and follow 1 3/4 miles to Genoa Road, turn left (East) and follow to headquarters.
